Perfect Tap Privacy Policy
Effective 15 October 2026
Perfect Tap is a single-player timing game for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information is handled when you play it, who handles it, and the choices you have.
Summary
- There are no accounts, and we (the developer) do not collect or store any of your personal data.
- Your scores and settings are saved on your device only.
- The app may show ads. When it does, a third-party advertising partner collects some device data to deliver and measure those ads, as described below.
- We never sell your personal data.
Information stored on your device
To show your high scores and remember your settings, the app saves the following on your device only:
- Your top 10 scores, with the date and the number of "perfect" taps in each run
- Whether sound and vibration are turned on
- Your advertising consent choices, when ads are enabled
This information never leaves your device. You can erase your scores at any time with "Clear scores" on the High Scores screen, or remove everything by deleting the app.
Advertising
To keep Perfect Tap free, the app may display ads. Versions of the app without ads do not collect or share any data. In versions that show ads, ads are served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud and measure how ads perform, AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS) where you allow it
- Your IP address, which can be used to estimate your approximate location (country or city)
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version
- Interactions with ads, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
- Diagnostic information, such as crash logs from the advertising software
This information goes directly from your device to Google. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google's use of this information is governed by its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Personalised ads and your consent
- UK, EEA and Switzerland: before any personalised ads are shown, the app asks for your consent. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use only limited data such as your approximate location and the content of the app. You can change your choice at any time from the app's privacy settings.
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks for permission before it can access your device's advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", it cannot access it. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads on some devices).
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, advertising is based on the choices you make in the consent form, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under UK GDPR, EU GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold any personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best made to Google using the links above. You can also contact us and we will help where we can. If you are in the UK, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Permissions
On Android the app uses the vibration permission for haptic feedback and the internet permission. In versions that show ads, it may also use the advertising ID permission. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, photos or files.
Children
Perfect Tap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the app.
